Karrion Kross finally addressed Triple H, ignoring the ‘We want Kross’ chants post-SummerSlam.
Karrion Kross was at the height of his popularity at SummerSlam when he faced Sami Zayn in a losing battle. Despite being a heel, The Herald Of Doomsday got loudly cheered and got support via the ‘We want Kross’ movement, both from fans online and those in attendance. However, SummerSlam this year went on to be known for the return of Brock Lesnar after two years. Fans were ecstatic to see The Beast back in WWE as he took out John Cena. During the post-SummerSlam panel, when Triple H was talking, fans started chanting for Karrion Kross once again, but The Game ignored that to address the fans and suggest that they were chanting for Brock Lesnar.
This did not sit well with Kross, who recently commented on it. The star addressed it in a video on his YouTube channel, titled ‘My WWE Contract Ends Today’. He goes on to state many aspects of his last few days in the promotion and how frustrating it has been for the company to get him a new contract. He even stated that he wanted to learn how to be a producer, but eventually, nothing came to fruition.
Speaking on Triple H mistaking ‘We want Kross’ for ‘We want Brock’, the star fans shouldn’t be ignored like that, as it eventually angers them.
“You can’t ignore the crowd in this business. You can try. It’s not going to be good in the end. You don’t want to make your audience feel like they’re not a part of this. You can’t tell them that they’re a part of this and that they’re the universe, and they’re so heavily involved in every aspect of it and then like on a whim tell them that certain subsections don’t matter. We can’t do that. That piss*es people off and turns people away.”
Karrion Kross Has Confirmed His Departure From WWE
Shortly after the aforementioned video went live, Karrion Kross took to X/Twitter to confirm his departure from the company. He stated in a post that he was looking for booking opportunities and that he would see the fans soon. The star then went on to state that he looked forward to seeing the fans once again.
Hey… life is fighting, right? Now accepting bookings: Business@killerkross.com. See you all again soon.”
Karrion Kross’ wife and fellow WWE star Scarlett Bordeaux also announced her departure from the company.
It remains to be seen what the future holds for both stars.
