Former WWE tag-team champion Karl Anderson has undergone successful surgery.
One of the most popular stars on the roster and an integral part of The Club, Karl Anderson will now be out for a significant period. Anderson’s last match was against Hank And Tank in a dark match on the October 1st episode of NXT.
A multi-time champion in the promotion, he alongside The OC was involved in a storyline revolving around AJ Styles during his heel turn earlier this year. Anderson has now revealed the news of his successful surgery and return timeline on social media (Instagram).
Posting his photo with his braced arm and heavily padded shoulder, Anderson wrote:
Thanks to Dr. Dugas in Birmingham, Alabama for fixing me. See you after WrestleMania. Details on this week’s Talk N Shop dropping Thursday am.”
His surgery will now keep him on the sidelines for several months, as he announced his return timeline after WrestleMania. There are no more updates on his injury or surgery yet, as he intends to drop more details later this week.
The former Bullet Club member’s last televised match took place on the 24th September episode of NXT against Hank And Tank.

Former WWE Champion And Karl Anderson’s Partner AJ Styles Also Out With Injury
Former WWE Champion AJ Styles suffered a brutal injury upon his SmackDown return on the 4th October episode. During his match against Carmelo Hayes, Styles suffered a left ankle injury while performing a springboard moon sault DDT and an Ushigoroshi.
It was later updated that Styles had suffered a legitimate ‘mid-foot ligament sprain’ also known as a Lisfranc injury. Currently recovering from his injury, AJ Styles had also recently rejected a TNA Hall of Fame induction.
