Kairi Sane Provides Positive Injury Update

Kairi Sane NXT

Kairi Sane has given an update on the injury that has left her sidelined from WWE for over three months.

Back in December, Sane was forced to pull out of the Women’s Intercontinental Title Tournament due to injury. She later posted a picture of herself in a sling on social media, indicating it was some type of arm injury.

Now, Sane has revealed that she had suffered a torn ligament in her thumb, leaving her unable to “even open a bottle cap”. However, thanks to surgery, the star is on the mend and has recovered her full grip strength.

On social media, she thanked the doctor who performed the surgery, and even claimed she’s “stronger than before.”

“Three months ago, I tore a ligament in my thumb and couldn’t even open a bottle cap.

Now, I’ve fully regained my grip strength—and I’m even stronger than before.
I’m truly grateful from the bottom of my heart to Dr. Hirsch, who performed my surgery. He was such a kind and wonderful doctor.

I wish I had taken a photo with him to remember that moment.🥺”

When Will Kairi Sane Return To WWE?

Earlier in April, PWInsider.com reported that WWE is hopeful of Kairi Sane returning “soon” although no timeline was given. With Sane’s recent post, though, it seems the company may be right to be optimistic of a quick recovery for The Pirate Princess.

The same report also gave a similar update on JD McDonagh, who has been out of action since puncturing his lung when he misjudged the landing on a Moonsault to the outside of the ring.
