Japanese sensation, Kairi Sane, appears to have unfinished business with WWE judging by a recent tweet from the beloved star.
The tweet, which was all in Japanese and can be seen below, translates as:
“This is Kairi Sane from WWE. I will report on future activities. In addition to continuing to belong as a player, I have been given the role of a new WWE promotion supporter in Japan, and will resume activities based in Japan. Thank you for your continued support.”
— KAIRI SANE カイリ・セイン (@KairiSaneWWE) October 2, 2020
While her role as a Japanese ambassador of sorts is the main focus of the tweet, it is the part where she mentions continuing to belong as a player which has got tongues wagging.
Though Sane does not specify continuing as a player in WWE, her current deal with the company would make it difficult if not impossible for her to compete for any other Japanese promotion.
Kairi Sane left WWE earlier this summer following an outpour of love from fans and three largely successful years. During her time with the company, she reached the Final of the 2017 Mae Young Classic and reigned as NXT Women’s Champion as well as WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion as a member of The Kabuki Warriors with current WWE Raw Women’s Champion, Asuka.
Her final WWE match was a victory over Bayley on the July 20 Monday Night Raw.
