Former WWE Superstar Justin Credible has discussed his role in the ‘Plane Ride From Hell’ and says he had to “babysit” Scott Hall on the infamous flight.
Season 3 of Dark Side Of The Ring recently resumed with an episode focussing on The Plane Ride From Hell. In 2002 a chartered flight left the UK for the USA with a roster of highly intoxicated WWE Superstars on board. The episode made headlines following revelations from a flight attendant on the plane with Ric Flair and Scott Hall being two of the names attracting most criticism for their behaviour.
One of the contributors on the episode and former ECW and WWE star Justin Credible recently appeared on the Legion Of RAW where he discussed having to look after Hall, not just for the flight but the entire trip in the UK:
“I’m not gonna sugarcoat this ’cause I don’t care. I was literally babysitting Scott Hall the whole trip. I made sure we sat at the front of the plane. I put him on the window side. From the beginning, it was not that he was incapacitated. I was just like, ‘Nah, you stay here,’ ’cause I wanted to get a good night’s rest.”
During the Dark Side Of The Ring episode, Credible had explained how he had to wheel Scott Hall through customs in a wheelchair while explaining that Hall had “a condition” to staff.
Amongst the fallout from the episode, Tommy Dreamer – a contributor on the episode – has been suspended indefinitely by IMPACT Wrestling for his comments in regard to Ric Flair’s behaviour as well as being removed from his role as one of the hosts of Busted Open Radio. Dreamer has since released a statement regarding his comments.
Ric Flair has also recently released a statement addressing the accusations made against himself following the airing of the episode. Flair noted that he was making a statement despite the advice of his lawyer and wife not to.
