Junior Dos Santos Responds To Roman Reigns’ AEW Comments

Junior Dos Santos has responded to a recent Roman Reigns interview where the ‘Tribal Chief’ claimed he could throw anyone on the AEW roster “out of the club no problem”.

During the interview with Complex, Roman Reigns was asked whether he would want to face CM Punk now that the ‘Voice of the Voiceless’ has returned to wrestling after a seven-year absence and joined AEW. The WWE Universal Champion had harsh words for both Punk and the rest of the AEW Roster.

“I don’t think anybody really believes someone 200 pounds soaking wet with no explosive bone in their body could ever really do anything to me. I’m 6’3”, 265 pounds, a legitimate athlete who can throw some weight around and has been on the gridiron at the highest level. D1. All ACC. I probably would’ve maintained in the NFL if my health issues didn’t happen when I was 22 years old. So, I mean, when it comes down to it, I’ll throw him and pretty much the rest of that roster out the club no problem. They’re just little brothers, you know?”

Former UFC Heavyweight Champion Junior Dos Santos, who has made several appearances for AEW in recent months as part of America’s Top Team, didn’t take kindly to the comments and took to Twitter to let Roman Reigns know he had been listening.

“Hey @WWERomanReignsI heard your interview. Please send the address of this club you will throw me and my little brothers out of”

The image in the tweet is taken from the pro-wrestling in-ring debut of Junior Dos Santos which took place on the October 15th episode of Rampage. He teamed with America’s Top Team allies the Men of the Year, Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky, to defeat Inner Circle members Chris Jericho, Jake Hagar, and TNT Champion Sammy Guevara.

Roman Reigns is set to defend his WWE Universal Championship against Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel on October 21st.
