WWE announcer Corey Graves was targeted by a Judgment Day member in a harsh remark regarding his ‘relegation.’
Corey Graves was part of the commentary team alongside Michael Cole this week on WWE RAW as a temporary replacement for Pat McAfee. During the show, the former 24/7 Champion commented about how JD McDonagh was born “with the skull of a Minecraft character.” Unsurprisingly, this comment didn’t land well with The Judgment Day member.
In an Instagram story, JD McDonagh reposted a graphic containing the quote by Corey Graves and stated that it wasn’t his fault that the WWE commentator got “relegated” in the Stamford-based promotion every time Pat McAfee was available to call the Monday night show.
It’s also not my fault @WWEGraves gets relegated every time @PatMcAfeeShow is available on a Monday.”

Corey Graves Receives Positive Reviews From WWE Officials
Although The Judgment Day didn’t exactly have the best experience with Corey Graves’ commentating this week, the rest of the fans expressed their delight in Michael Cole and the former superstar’s tandem commentary. As it turns out, even those backstage also had positive reviews for the commentator.
According to PWInsider Elite, Graves’ recent RAW and Worlds Collide commentary performance “raised his profile internally.” It was also noted that he had previously ranted about being transferred to NXT after McAfee returned a few months ago on the Monday night show.
However, after impressing people backstage, it was said that the incident was forgotten after he had proved “himself to the new regime.”
In other news: JD McDonagh’s recent match with AJ Styles allegedly had issues.
