The Judgment Day gained another championship through Carlito.

Three weeks ago, it was announced that the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico, whose owner is Carlito’s father, Carlos Colon, will partner with WWE. Included in the announcement is that The Judgment Day member will appear in the show after being authorized by RAW’s general manager, Adam Pearce.

On the May 31st WWC’s Summer Madness event, Carlito took on Ray Gonzalez and successfully became the WWC Puerto Rico Champion.

The current champion’s last appearance in his father’s promotion was in June 2023 during its 50th Anniversary show, just before he re-signed with the Stamford-based promotion.

Carlito is now the fourth member of The Judgment Day to hold a belt. Others include Intercontinental Champion Dominik Mysterio and the Women’s Tag Team Champions Raquel Rodriguez and Liv Morgan.

Carlito Speaks About His Retirement

Although The Judgment Day member just won a championship and is still active on WWE, he admits that his time in the wrestling ring is coming up.

While talking with Alistair McGeorge of Metro, the RAW star said that he doesn’t have an exact date in mind and that his body would just let him know, but admits it’s coming. He added that he is more focused on having fun instead on having dream matches.

“Just having fun, man. And with what time I’ve got left, just giving it whatever I can. I’ve passed that stage of “Who would you like to work with?” I’m just here to have fun and work, and leave some body of work before I go.”
