Dr. Carlon Colker’s motion to deny Janel Grant’s petition in relation to the ongoing lawsuit against Vince McMahon, John Laurinaitis and WWE has been rejected.

As reported on May 12th, Connecticut Judge Colleen Zingaro ruled against Colker, allowing Grant to pursue evidence from the doctor and the Peak Wellness Clinic concerning the lawsuit. As a result of the latest update, Grant is able to conduct discovery, which would include medical records, communications with McMahon and a possible testimony from Colker and the Peak Wellness Clinic.

While the case involving Grant and Colker is in connection to the McMahon lawsuit, as Grant allegedly made multiple visits to the clinic, Brandon Thurston of POST Wrestling notes that the Grant and Colker case is separate from the federal lawsuit:

The case involving Grant and Colker is a state-level pre-suit bill of discovery action in the Connecticut Superior Court that’s separate from Grant’s federal lawsuit against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis. It’s also separate from Colker’s defamation lawsuit he recently filed in federal court against Grant’s attorney Ann Callis.

Both parties remain in dispute over copies of medical records and bills. Grant claims that not everything requested has been provided to her, while Colker argues that he has done so multiple times, adding that receipts are part of his defamation lawsuit against Grant’s attorney, Ann Callis.

Janel Grant’s Attorney Alleges Multiple Visits To Peak Wellness Clinic

Grant’s attorneys have previously claimed that their client visited the Peak Wellness Clinic more than 60 times between 2019 and 2022 at the urging of Vince McMahon. Grant has also alleged that while visiting the clinic, she was given infusions and supplements that were not identified to her. Colker has denied the allegations.

The lawsuit against Vince McMahon that was filed in January 2024 and led to the former Chairman’s resignation remains ongoing.
