Josh Barnett, the former UFC Heavyweight Champion and veteran of NJPW, GCW and IMPACT Wrestling, has offered his services to AEW.

AEW has been under scrutiny following reports of physical confrontations among its wrestlers. The most recent incident involved CM Punk and Jack Perry during AEW All In, leading to Punk’s contract termination and Perry’s indefinite suspension.

Taking to social media, Barnett expressed his belief that the AEW locker room requires someone to establish order and bring an end to the chaos. He offered himself as a candidate for the role, stating that if Tony Khan, the president of AEW, needed someone to maintain discipline and resolve conflicts, he would be willing to take on the job.

Barnett, known for his accomplishments as a former UFC Heavyweight Champion and the Openweight King of Pancrase, reassured fans that there would be no random fights or uncontrolled violence under his watch.

When a fan suggested settling disputes with Pancrase rules on live TV, Barnett acknowledged the idea but emphasised that not all issues could be resolved through physical confrontation. He acknowledged his experience and training with notable figures like Antonio Inoki, claiming to possess a comprehensive understanding of all aspects of the wrestling business.
