The TNA Knockouts Champion, Jordynne Grace, faced Roxanne Perez at NXT Battleground in a fierce battle for the NXT Women’s Championship, ultimately ending in a loss for Grace. During the intense match, Grace sustained an injury when one of her earrings was forcefully ripped out of her ear.
Jordynne Grace took to social media to share a graphic image of the injury, clearly depicting the torn earlobe where the earring had been. In her post, she expressed her decision to refrain from wearing ear piercings while wrestling, citing the injury as the reason behind this precautionary measure.
Despite suffering this injury Grace continued the match unimpeded and despite putting up a valiant effort, lost the match after interference from both Tatum Paxley and Ash by Elegance, formerly known as Dana Brooke in her WWE tenure.
