Jonathan Gresham has declared that new Ring of Honor Women’s Champion Deonna Purrazzo is the best technical wrestler in the world.
Since leaving WWE in April 2020, the career of Deonna Purrazzo has gone from strength to strength. The Virtuosa quickly returned to IMPACT Wrestling where she won the Knockouts Championship for the first time.
Although she lost the title three months later, Purazzo regained the gold within three weeks. This second reign lasted just short of a year. During which time she established herself as one of the most respected female performers in the world and claimed the AAA Reina de Reinas Championship.
At ROH Final Battle Rok-C defeated Willow to retain her ROH Women’s Championship, before being confronted by Purrazzo. This set up a Title vs. Title match for on the January 13th episode of IMPACT.
After a hard-fought contest it was Purrazzo who emerged victorious, forcing her rival to submit with the Venus de Milo armbar. After the show IMPACT posted on social media asking for thoughts on the show with a picture of Purrazzo.
Ring of Honor World Champion Jonathan Gresham replied to the post, hailing Purrazzo as the best technical wrestler in the world.
I believe she's the best technical wrestler in the world. https://t.co/utotYAWxiP

Despite the victory, Purrazzo was left with little time to celebrate as she was confronted by Maria Kanellis-Bennett, Mike Bennett, Matt Taven, Vincent, and PCO. Before the situation could escalate further, Matthew Rehwoldt rushed to the ring allowing the new champion to escape.
The show went off the air with the ROH invaders standing tall over The Drama King, Rich Swann, and Willie Mack.
