Jon Moxley’s insatiable desire for revenge came back to haunt him as his plan got thwarted this week on AEW Dynamite.
During the main event between Claudio Castagnoli and Mark Briscoe, Darby Allin appeared from the crowd to survey the match. The distraction proved costly for The Swiss Superman as The Sussex County Chicken scored an upset victory. Unfortunately, Briscoe’s celebration was short-lived as he got immediately destroyed by The Death Riders, led by Jon Moxley.
The former AEW World Champion then let current world champion ‘Hangman’ Adam Page know that he’s not the top guy yet, and he boldly claimed that no one will get comfortable. This was a follow-up on his promise from the opening moments of the show where he stated that he would fix his mistake, one way or another.
Hangman quickly emerged to answer Mox’s desperate challenge to bring back the world title. The champion quickly got into the latter’s face and delivered a major challenge.
‘Hangman’ Adam Page issues a major stipulation to Jon Moxley for their upcoming world title match
To close this week’s edition of Dynamite, AEW World Champion ‘Hangman’ Adam Page emerged to announce that on next week’s edition of AEW Dynamite, Page would be defending his world title against Moxley. The world champion made it clear to Moxley that their title match next week will involve no one but themselves and a referee, as every member of the roster was banned from ringside.

The segment ended with the champion agreeing on behalf of the challenger as he quickly left the ring, which irked the latter. A visibly confused Moxley left the ring along with his stablemates over at the Death Riders to officially close this week’s episode.
Next week’s world title bout will be a rematch from their brutal Texas Death Match from All In in Arlington, Texas, where Hangman successfully dethroned Mox.
With the huge stipulation now in place, it seems that the match will be a classic.
