AEW have confirmed that Jon Moxley will defend the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega on the December 2nd episode of Dynamite.
At AEW Full Gear on Saturday night, Kenny Omega defeated Hangman Page to become number one contender to the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. The former AEW Tag Team Champions had both progressed to the finals of a tournament with the prize being a shot at the AEW Championship,

Meanwhile, Jon Moxley continued his dominant run as AEW World Champion by defeating Eddie Kingston in the main event, in an I Quit Match, only for Omega to get a closer look at his future opponent with a stare down closing the show.
On this week’s Dynamite, it was made official. Kenny Omega’s championship opportunity will come on a weekly episode of Dynamite, as he clashes with Jon Moxley on December 2nd.
The match will be the second time Moxley and Omega have clashed in AEW in just over a year, with the thus-far undefeated Moxley taking the win at Full Gear 2019 in a Non-Sanctioned Match.
