To get absolute power on Wednesday Nights, Jon Moxley has his eyes on a legendary AEW tag team.
The September 10 episode of AEW Dynamite kicked off from the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This marked the third episode of Dynamite during the road to All Out, taking place on September 20. Surprisingly, WWE also announced a premium live event for the same date; check its match card here.
On the weekly show’s lineup, a 10-man tag team match was scheduled, with $500k waiting for the champion team. Brodido (Bandido and Brody King) teamed up with The Opps to take on The Death Riders (Jox Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, Wheeler Yuta) and The Young Bucks (Matt and Nick Jackson). However, an incident during one particular backstage interaction caught the eyes of wrestling fans.
What Did Jon Moxley Say to the Young Bucks?
During the backstage segment, Renee Paquette was seen talking with The Young Bucks, asking them about the upcoming lucrative main event. She asked Matt and Nick what they would do if they won the money, and both stars revealed their plans to spend the money.
Following this, the Young Bucks went to the dining tables to enjoy their food, but were soon greeted by Jon Moxley.
Nothing has changed, nothing has changed. You are Nick and Matt Jackson, the best tag team in the world. It’s Wednesday Night, we’re in Philadelphia, this is the arena. 250-grands, a-piece. Show up, show up to win.” (1:26 – 1:50)

It would be interesting to see the dynamics between The Death Riders and the Young Bucks during the high-stakes tag team match later in the night.
On the same show, AEW World Champion, ‘Hangman’ Adam Page, will try to exact revenge on Josh Alexander following last week’s events. The Women’s World Champion Toni Storm takes on Skye Blue of Triangle of Madness in a Street Fight ahead of her title defense at AEW All Out on September 20th. Riho will team up with Alex Windsor to take on Mercedes Mone and her mentor, Emi Sakura.
