Jon Moxley has continued his odyssey in the wrestling world as he invaded a GCW event to brawl with their world champion Nick Gage.
Nick Gage is the modern-day king of the deathmatch, competing in brutal and bloody matches for both CZW and now Game Changer Wrestling. Moxley himself is no stranger to this type of match having competed in them before his career took him to WWE.
Since Moxley left the confines of sports entertainment behind he has found himself battling the great and the good of the wrestling world wherever he goes. The former AEW World Champion is still the current IWGP US Champion and has competed at Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport events as well.
Moxley’s latest quest sees him with Nick Gage in his sights once again. In April Moxley interrupted the rSpring Break event, coming face to face with Gage before dropping him with a Paradigm Shift onto some light tubes.
At GCW’s Draft Day event in Moxley’s backyard of Las Vegas, he once again decided to get in Gage’s face. Nick Gage had just successfully defended his GCW World Title against AJ Gray when Moxley struck. Coming through the fans in attendance, Mox hit the ring but this time Gage got the upper hand, dropping him with a DDT of his own.
The brawl between Jon Moxley and Gage was still ongoing when GCW’s show went off the air but the company later confirmed the two men had brawled out of the building and down the street. Moxley and Gage were reported to have fought one another for fifteen minutes as fans followed them.

Gage has been in the headlines in recent weeks as he is the subject of an episode on season three of Dark Side Of The Ring. Gage was sentenced to five years in prison for his part in a bank robbery in 2010.
No match between Moxley and Gage has been made official but GCW are promoting their Homecoming Weekend to take place on the 24th and 25th of July in Atlantic City.
