According to a new report one top WWE star labelled John Laurinaitis the biggest snake in the wrestling business shortly before he left the company.

On August 8th it was confirmed that former WWE Head Of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis had left the company. The report noted that ‘Johnny Ace’ had been “quietly let go,” although the information had been kept within a small circle.

A further report from Fightful Select has now given an insight into the events leading up to Laurinaitis’ departure. The report states that while Laurinaitis has been fired, he has remained on company mailing lists. He had been removed when Triple H became Head of Talent Relations, but quickly reappeared.

Fightful were told that the emails do include “sensitive information pertaining to creative, and personnel.”

WWE talent and staff do not expect Laurinaitis to return, with many admitting their excitement that he’s gone. While a top WWE star referred to ‘Johnny Ace’ as “the biggest snake in the business.”

Laurinaitis appeared on WWE’s internal termination list along with Vince McMahon.

John Laurinatis is being investigated by WWE’s Board of Directors in regard to a “$1.5 million nondisclosure agreement reached in 2012 with an employee.” Laurinaitis stepped down from his role as Head of Talent Relations at around the same time that the deal with the employee was reached. It is alleged that Laurinaitis demoted the woman after she ended their affair.
