John Cena Comments On Steve Austin WWE Return

John Cena & Steve Austin

John Cena has shared his thoughts on Stone Cold Steve Austin promising to open up one last can of whoop-ass at WrestleMania 38.

Stone Cold Steve Austin will be back in a WWE ring at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas, Texas. Although the true nature of the appearance is currently unknown, fan excitement went through the roof, when Austin accepted the challenge laid down on Monday Night Raw by Kevin Owens.

It’s unclear as to whether Austin will be competing in a match, getting physical in a KO Show segment, or a mixture of the two. However, it appears that none of that matters to John Cena, who quickly became wrapped up in the hype along with everyone else.

Posting on social media, Cena said that he was excited for Steve Austin and excited for the WWE Universe.

‘Stone Cold Friday’ is a reference to Cena’s tradition of posting Stone Cold memes on Instagram.

Fully paid-up member of the Stone Cold fan club Becky Lynch also shared her reaction, echoing the thoughts of millions writing “Ohhhh hell yeah!!!!!”

On the February 7th episode of Monday Night Raw, after weeks of teases and speculation, Kevin Owens laid down a challenge to Stone Cold Steve Austin.

After missing out on the Raw Tag Team Titles alongside Seth Freakin’ Rollins early in the show, Owens found his road to WrestleMania 38 well and truly blocked. That was until he had another idea. After retuning to the ring, Owens said he was going to host the most stupendous KO Show in history, before he called out the WWE Hall of Famer

In the clip accepting the challenge, Austin said that Owens had awakened something he had kept buried for 19 years, before promising to meet the former World Champion at WrestleMania.

Steve Austin hasn’t wrestled since being defeated by The Rock At WrestleMania XIX in March 2003.
