John Cena Set For Major Role In New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Film

John Cena has been announced as part of the cast for the latest instalment in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.

The animated movie, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, will feature John Cena as the mutant rhino, Rocksteady, the hapless partner of warthog Bepop, played by Seth Rogen. Interestingly, this is the same role WWE Superstar Sheamus portrayed in the live-action TMNT movie, Out of the Shadows back in 2016.

Rogen revealed the voice cast of the new film at the Nickelodeon Kids’ Choice Awards on March 4th. The official synopsis of the movie is below:

“In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, after years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts.

“Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.”

John Cena returns to Raw on March 6th

Cena is set to return to WWE on the March 6th episode of Raw at the TD Garden in Boston. United States Champion Austin Theory has promised a special welcome for the Hollywood star, with reports suggesting that this will kick off a build to the pair clashing at WrestleMania 39.
