John Cena Rocks Hilarious New Look In Trailer For Roku Comedy Series

John Cena

After conquering the world of WWE as a 16-time world champion, John Cena set his sights on Hollywood, finding great success.

He received high praise for his work in the HBO Max series Peacemaker, and now he’ll be starring in a new comedy series alongside Kevin Hart in Die Hart 2: Die Harter. The film reunites him with Fast & Furious co-star Nathalie Emmanuel and will also feature Paula Pell, Melissa Ponzio, and Ben Schwartz.

The series sees Kevin Hart play a fictionalized version of himself who’s on a quest to become an action star, and in the newest trailer, John Cena can be seen sporting a long blond wig and red kimono as a character who appears to live in a secluded cabin. He will be playing a stuntman known as “Mr. 206” according to Variety.

The series will be available to stream on the Roku channel beginning March 31st.

John Cena Also Sported A New Look For Ricky Stanicky

Die Hart 2: Die Harter is far from the only project on John Cena‘s plate at the moment as the star has recently been in Australia filming the movie Ricky Stanicky alongside co-star Zac Efron. His outfit in Ricky Stanicky also raised a few eyebrows as photos posted by TMZ show the former WWE Champion wearing a skirt, tights, and high heels.

Cena is playing the lead role in the movie alongside Zac Efron, Jermaine Fowler, and William H. Macy, while Peter Farrelly serves as writer and director.

You can find the IMDB description of the film below.

“When three teens pull a prank and burn down a house in their neighborhood, they create a fake person to take the blame — Ricky Stanicky did it! Twenty years later we see that they have been using this alibi to get out of every uncomfortable situation in life. When their wives force them to set up a meeting with Stanicky, they hire an actor.”

Despite his busy filming schedule, John Cena is set to make his WWE return on the upcoming episode of Raw. While it has yet to be confirmed by the company, it is expected that he will be facing United States Champion Austin Theory at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles, CA.
