John Cena will make his final Toronto appearance at WWE Elimination Chamber and says the event will be one to remember.
After two decades in the ring, 2025 will mark the final year of Cena’s pro wrestling career. Instead of having one big retirement match, the 16-Time World Champion will embark on a tour that will include his final Elimination Chamber when the annual event heads to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The last time Cena appeared in an Elimination Chamber match was in 2018. There, the star came up short as Roman Reigns defeated five other men to become the Number One Contender for the Universal Title.
The city holds a special place for Cena, as it was there that he announced his intention to retire during the 2024 edition of Money in the Bank. The star has now taken to social media to tell fans how excited he is to stand in the ring in Toronto one last time.
“Toronto, I was lucky enough to stand in your ring to announce my retirement. I said I’d be back. This is it! The last time is now! I’m so excited to stand in your ring one last time.
Do NOT miss it and looking forward to an unforgettable event!!!”
