Footage has emerged of John Cena’s joyous performance of the Peacemaker dance alongside a fan during his appearance at Comic-Con Wales.
The announcement of 16-time World Champion John Cena making a public appearance at Comic-Con Wales at the start of August was met with shock. Cena, despite his close bond with the WWE Universe, rarely appears at such events, particularly if the event isn’t directly linked with WWE.
He did indeed appear at the event, though, in full John Cena gear. Given that this was a ‘Con’ event, he wasn’t the only one there playing dress-up. During his on-stage panel, Cena invited a fan dressed as Peacemaker to join him and perform the titular show’s signature dance.
Footage has since been posted to TikTok.

John Cena first portrayed the character of Peacemaker – real name Christopher Smith – in James Gunn’s 2021 release The Suicide Squad. A spin-off series was later confirmed in September 2020 and premiered on 13 January. Season two is now under production, with filming scheduled to begin in 2023.
Cena’s WWE career is now considered all but over, having been a part-time performer for the last few years. He last appeared on the 27 June Monday Night Raw to mark his twentieth anniversary with WWE, though he hasn’t wrestled since last September.
