John Cena No Longer Odds-On Favourite To Win WWE Royal Rumble

Another WWE star has overtaken John Cena to become the new odd-on favourite to win the 2025 Royal Rumble match.

Making his return to TV at the Raw on Netflix premiere episode, John Cena became the first star to officially declare for the Royal Rumble, stating that it would be his path to WrestleMania and winning the record-breaking 17th World Championship. Ever since the announcement, Cena has remained the number one choice on betting sites and who many fans believe will be the victor, equalling Steve Austin’s record of 3 Rumble wins in the process.

However, according to betting aggregator Oddschecker, Cena is now the second favourite to win the match behind CM Punk. Based on Oddschecker’s accumulation, the best odds for Punk to win the match are currently 11/10 with Cena in second with odds of 5/2. Rounding out the top 5 is Roman Reigns with odds of 10/3, Seth Rollins with 7/1 odds and Logan Paul with 20/1 odds. If Punk does win the match, it will be the first of his career.

For anyone wondering who the most unlikely winners are according to the odds, Akam and Rezar currently are at 500/1 each.

The Women’s Royal Rumble remains unchanged with Charlotte Flair still the favourite to win the match for the second time in her career.

Although Cena will compete in his final Rumble on February 1st to kick off his year-long farewell tour, the 16-time World Champion has not been seen since he announced his participation in the match. As part of a recent report, John Cena’s absence was explained.
