John Cena Names The WWE Losses That Mean The Most To Him

John Cena has looked back at some of the biggest losses of his WWE career and how they became defining moments.

Presented as the top star in the company for over a decade and with 16 World Championship reigns, it’s no surprise that Cena more often than not emerged the victor over his opponents. According to Cagematch, Cena won 475 of his 708 televised WWE matches, resulting in a 67% success rate for the Hollywood star.

However, while Cena won often, some might say too often, there were times when Cena losing meant so much more for all involved.

Speaking with Chris McPherson of Collider, Cena picked out 3 losses that made for a great story:

“Some of the ones that come to mind are certainly The Rock in Miami (at WrestleMania 28) was a fantastic loss; Kevin Owens’ debut (at Elimination Chamber 2015) was another great one that I thought was a really fun one; Rob Van Dam at Hammerstein Ballroom (at ECW One Night Stand in 2006). Anytime you can surprise people.”
