John Cena Makes Bold Prediction For WWE Star

John Cena is predicting big things for one WWE star who recently won big at WrestleMania.

Competing in the main event of night 2 of WrestleMania 41, John Cena defeated Cody Rhodes to make history by becoming a 17-time World Champion, the most recognised by WWE. Capping off a weekend of title changes, another notable result took place earlier in the show.

Winning his first main roster singles championship, Dominik Mysterio emerged victorious over Bron Breakker, Penta and Finn Balor to win the Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career. Ever since his heel turn over his father Rey Mysterio, “Dirty” Dom has promised that when all is said and done he would be the most famous Mysterio in history. When discussing the new Intercontinental Champion, Cena agreed.

While appearing on The Pat McAfee Show, Cena praised Mysterio’s work so far and believes that he will surpass the legacy that his Hall of Fame father has already created:

“Dom Mysterio is born for this. Period. I got to work with him very early in his career and I’ve had the chance to work with experienced talent and also the chance to work with a lot of new talent. You can tell right away, there are always late arrivals and people can not get it, and then figure it out, I’m a living example of that. There are also those people…I remember Randy Orton making everything look so easy.

Dom just makes everything effortless. He doesn’t crack under pressure. Any pool we’ve dropped him in, he has not only treaded water, he’s swimming laps around everyone else. Dom Mysterio, we aren’t even close to what that kid is capable of. He’s incredible, and he’s going to be incredible for the next 20 years or as long as he wants to be in this business. He will be, and I love his dad [Rey Mysterio], he will be the most famous Mysterio.”

What’s Next For John Cena?

Appearing live on the Raw after Mania, Cena spoke about his victory, how he intends to ruin wrestling and reminded the fans that his remaining dates are limited. However, the John Cena segment did not go the way the 17-time World Champion intended as he was attacked by a former rival.

In another interview, Stephanie McMahon recalled Vince McMahon being anything but respectful to a religious critic.

H/t to Fightful.
