Edge celebrated his 25th anniversary in WWE on SmackDown.
During the show, video packages aired from many of the friends and enemies the Rated-R Superstar made during his legendary career. One of these featured possibly his biggest rival, John Cena.
Cena congratulated his “arch-nemesis” before praising his dedication.
“Edge, this is your arch nemesis John Cena saying congratulations on 25 years in the WWE. We are amazed at your professional dedication and passion.”

Meanwhile, Miz also congratulated the star, saying that before he was awesome, Edge “reeked of awesomeness”, while Kurt Angle called him “one of the greatest of all time.”
Other stars offering their congratulations were Rey Mysterio, Natalya, and potentially his final opponent, Sheamus.
Ahead of his match with The Celtic Warrior, a tribute video aired showing Edge’s entire career, from the time he spoke to Bret Hart on a talk show as he was breaking in to wrestling, to his first retirement, and up to the present day.
"Edge created a masterpiece that people are gonna look back on forever."

Has Edge had his last match?
In the main event of SmackDown in Toronto, Edge faced Sheamus in the last match of his current contract. The pair went to war, but in the end, the Hall of Famer was able to find an opportunity to land a spear for the victory.
After the show went off the air, the star addressed his future amid speculation that the bout could be his final bow. While he admitted that fans had just witnessed his last match in Toronto, he couldn’t say what the future holds as he hasn’t made a firm decision quite yet.
Instead, he said he would talk it over with his family to see what they wanted him to do.
“I don’t know what the future holds, I really don’t. I’ve got to sit home this week and lick my wounds, talk to my family and see what they want me to do. But what I can say, Toronto, is thank you.”
