John Cena “Flattered” By Comparisons To Premier League Star Harry Kane

John Cena

John Cena is undoubtedly one of the greatest Superstars of all time in WWE.

The 16-time World Champion was most recently seen at WrestleMania 39, where he unsuccessfully challenged Austin Theory for the WWE United States Championship in the opening match on night one of the huge Premium Live Event.

Over the years Cena has been compared to some of the most legendary names in WWE history, so it came as some what of a surprise earlier this week when the West Newbury, Massachusetts native was compared to a soccer star from across the pond.

John Cena Flattered By Comparison To Spurs striker Harry Kane

During a recent appearance on Sky Sports, Cena read out replies from AI chatbot ChatGPT which compared him to Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane:

“If John Cena were a Premier League footballer, he would be Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane. John Cena is highly athletic with a strong work ethic and a track record of high performance at an elite level. Based on these traits, he could be compared to Harry Kane.

John Cena’s dedication to inspire could also be compared to Kane, in his tireless work rate, strong leadership and and positive influence on those around him, both on and off the pitch.”

Cena seemed taken aback by the comparison and was quick to send his own message to England’s all-time top goalscorer, including offering to buy the popular striker a beer:

“Harry Kane I’ve never met you but you sound like a hell of a guy. I’ve never had this much flattery bestowed upon me on my life so Harry Kane thank you for making my day. You’ve made me smile and I got to be called a while lot of nice things because of you. If you want a pint somewhere, then I’m your man.”

Cena’s words will come as a timely boost to Kane who, despite tremendous personal success, has endured a difficult season with Spurs. With just one year left on his contract, it is possible the legendary Premier League star will leave the North London side.
