John Cena and Logan Paul recently revealed the potential names for their WWE tag team.
The Undisputed WWE Champion and Paul are set to team up against Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso in a bid to ruin wrestling. The stars will face off at Money in the Bank. Cena not only wants to ruin wrestling by taking home the Undisputed Title at the end of the year when he retires, but he also wants to ensure that Paul, who is a YouTuber-turned-wrestler, gets the World Heavyweight Title.
Before their huge match at MITB, the 17-time world champion and The Maverick discussed potential names for their team. On Logan Paul’s vlog published on his YouTube channel, the star showcased a conversation he had with Cena.
“[Logan] Wait so now that we’re a tag team do we come up with a tag team name or something? [Cena] Yeah, sure. What do you wanna be? The Human Centipede? [Logan] I was thinking Heel Team Six. [Cena] I love that! [Logan] The WWE. ‘Cause we are The WWE. It’s The WWE.”
Cena went on to mimic an announcement for ‘The WWE’ and stated that he didn’t hate it either. The ‘Heel Team Six’ is a play on the name SEAL Team Six, which is the US Military’s tier one special missions unit.
Despite teaming with Logan Paul, John Cena was issued a huge threat by CM Punk on WWE RAW
On the latest episode of WWE RAW, CM Punk issued a huge challenge to John Cena. Reiterating that it was the Summer of Punk, the legend said that he was looking to face Cena at some point this year. He wanted to cash in his Money in the Bank contract on Cena, but unfortunately could not qualify thanks to interference from Seth Rollins and his faction.
It remains to be seen whether the Undisputed WWE Champion and CM Punk will be able to run back their epic rivalry once again.
John Cena will also look to take a step closer to ruining wrestling by emerging victorious alongside Logan Paul at Money in the Bank.
