R-Truth received more reactions after announcing his departure from WWE.
R-Truth shocked the wrestling world when he announced on social media that he was no longer part of WWE. Many fans were saddened by the news, and it’s evident that he has a positive influence backstage as well, since his fellow superstars were nothing but appreciative of him.
Truth’s childhood hero and recent Saturday Night’s Main Event opponent, John Cena, despite being a heel, showed his appreciation for his rival by posting a photo on his social media.
Rusev tweeted a simple “angry” emoji in response to R-Truth’s departure announcement. Meanwhile, stars like Jade Cargill, Alexa Bliss,Joe Gacy, and Michin had a short but thoughtful message to the veteran wrestler: Thank you.
Zelina Vega also gave love to the former United States Champion by talking about who he was as a superstar and friend. She complimented him as a performer, but also as a great person. Vega also recalled how he was always kind, gave her advice, or made her laugh.

Another SmackDown star who talked about Truth was Wade Barrett. The commentator posted a photo of his time as an active superstar during a match with Truth, and thanked the former superstar for making the locker room better.

Another Fan-Favorite Star Leaves WWE Shortly After R-Truth
Unfortunately for wrestling fans, R-Truth wasn’t the only star who departed the Stamford-based promotion this weekend.
Just moments after Truth announced his exit, Carlito shared that he will be leaving WWE after the company decided not to renew his contract, which is set to expire in two weeks. Despite the sad news, he still managed to joke about the situation before thanking fans and the company.
