Joe Hendry has teased something big for his next WWE appearance.
In one of the biggest surprises over WrestleMania weekend, the TNA World Champion was revealed to be the mystery opponent for Randy Orton. Receiving a great response from the Las Vegas fans, Hendry’s latest WWE appearance went viral and many believe that it is only a matter of time before the Scottish star makes another appearance for the company.
In previous interviews, Hendry has stated that the dream match for him would be against John Cena, who won his 17th World Championship in the main event of WrestleMania. Although some believed this to be an impossible task, Hendry’s recent Mania match has proved that anything can happen.
Speaking with Ariel Helwani, Hendry was asked what’s next for him following the Orton match. Noting that Cena has back-up from Travis Scott, the TNA World Champion hinted that he may also have an ally from the music world:
“Well you know the match I’m going for [John Cena], and it just now makes more sense than ever. This is all I’m going to say. He’s got Travis Scott in his corner. Can you imagine if a huge star in music just reached out to Joe Hendry, someone in the same ballpark as Travis Scott reached out to Joe Hendry and said maybe they might want to start backing me. hat’s what I’m saying. Maybe it’s the same genre as Travis Scott. It’s all just thoughts and rumours. Did that happen yesterday? Maybe it did. Maybe it didn’t. I’m gonna stop there.”

Although many names were rumoured to be Orton’s Mania opponent, few expected it to be Hendry. During the same interview, Joe Hendry recalled how he found out about the Randy Orton match.
