Joe Hendry is on his way to motivate IMPACT Wrestling!

On the September 15th episode of IMPACT Wrestling, it was announced that Joe Hendry had signed with the company. During the show, a vignette aired that showed a chair being thrown and a phone call during which a distraught family member said someone was “covered in bite marks,” a clear reference to the recent brawl that took place after the AEW All Out Media Scrum.

A man in a hospital bed appeared to be trying to speak, and family and medical staff urged him to say the name, which brought out Joe Hendry launching into one of his signature musical parodies, this time urging everyone to believe in Joe Hendry.

The Scottish star previously worked with IMPACT in 2018, debuting in July of that year and appearing for the company multiple times until the following October. He was most recently signed to Ring of Honor, last competing for the Tony Khan-acquired promotion at Supercard of Honor where he lost to Dalton Castle.

Hendry recently took to social media to express gratitude to his fans and supporters as well as to tease that big things were on the way for him.

“The past year has been one of the most challenging, but amazing and rewarding chapters of my life. The support +enthusiasm from fans has been unbelievable It pushes me to get better every day I appreciate every single one of you who has promoted my work. Big things on the way..”

Known for his creativity outside the ring as well, Joe Hendry often creates hilarious parody entrance videos that highlight his feuds with his opponents. Ahead of his match with Scotty 2 Hotty at North Wrestling, he created a parody of Bon Jovi’s Livin’ on a Prayer that made fun of the Too Cool star’s signature Worm.

Elsewhere on the September 15th episode of IMPACT, Mascara Dorada unsuccessfully challenged “Speedball” Mike Bailey for the X Division Championship.
