Despite the shocking events that occurred at Bound For Glory, JBL is still supportive of Joe Hendry.
After failing to win the World Championship in both TNA and NXT earlier in the year, many were under the assumption that Bound For Glory would be Hendry’s long-awaited moment and the culmination of his breakout year. However, thanks to interference from JBL, who took out guest referee Frankie Kazarian, Ryan Nemeth and Hendry, Nic Nemeth was able to pin Hendry and retain the title once more.
With the Hall of Famer still yet to comment on TV about his long-term plans following multiple independent appearances, John “Bradshaw” Layfield has instead let his feelings be known in media interviews or on social media.
Choosing the latter, JBL quoted Hendry’s image of the attack and seemingly confirmed it was nothing personal, just business:
I still believe in Joe Hendry.

What’s Next For Joe Hendry?
Although the Scottish star has yet to win a World Championship, Hendry has already revealed that he has big things planned in the coming months. Having achieved chart success with his viral entrance theme earlier in the year, Joe Hendry looks to dominate Europe in 2025 as he will be submitting a bid to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest.
While some are under the belief that is only a matter of time before Joe Hendry joins WWE given his previous appearances on NXT, a contract update was provided earlier in the year.
