Jimmy Uso

Jimmy Uso has been filmed training at the WWE Performance Center as he works towards a comeback to the wrestling ring.

Jimmy’s twin brother Jey posted a video of Jimmy working out on Twitter accompanied with the caption:

“@itsJimmyuso is finally getting his ass back in the gym”

Jimmy Uso has been out of action since he suffered an injury at WrestleMania 36 in 2020. Uso had competed in a ladder match for the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championships. The match itself saw members of teams compete in a singles triple threat match. John Morrison, representing himself and The Miz defeated Jimmy Uso and Kofi Kingston, who was representing The New Day.

Reports at the time suggested Uso had suffered a bad knee injury and could be out of action for 6-9 months. However, Jimmy Uso has not competed for nearly a year.

Uso made appearances during his brother Jey’s feud with Roman Reigns towards the end of 2020. Jimmy would come to his brother’s aid during Clash of Champions in September 2020. As he tried to throw the towel in for Jey as he was viciously beaten by Roman Reigns. The next month at Hell In A Cell, Jimmy would again try to protect Jey from Reigns. In an ‘I Quit Hell In A Cell’ match, Jey would eventually quit and lose the match when Reigns choked out the still injured Jimmy.

Since the conclusion of that feud, Jey has been aligned with Roman Reigns on SmackDown. It remains to be seen if Jimmy would join his family upon his return to the ring.
