AJ Lee’s WWE return resulted in punishment for Jimmy Uso.
Wrestling fans were buzzing about the possible return of AJ Lee en route to the September 5 episode of WWE SmackDown as CM Punk‘s feud with Seth Rollins became complicated with the addition of Becky Lynch, who doesn’t hold back in getting physical and verbal against The Best in the World.
Among the names who expressed their excitement about the possible return was former Women’s World Champion Naomi, who is currently on maternity leave for her first child with Jimmy Uso. Ahead of the SmackDown episode, the absent star stated that fans would witness a “crash out of the century” if AJ returns while she’s away.
On this week’s SmackDown show in Chicago, the former Divas Champion indeed returned, where she aided CM Punk against Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins. Several wrestling fans and wrestlers themselves expressed their excitement over the comeback. Even Naomi reacted to the return, but it came with consequences for Jimmy Uso.
On X (Twitter), Naomi reposted the WWE’s video of AJ Lee’s return and shared that Jimmy was sleeping outside, joking about being mad for getting her pregnant just in time for the former Divas Champion’s return.

Naomi Had Several More Tweets Following AJ Lee’s Return
The former Women’s World Champion remained true to her word about “crashing out” if AJ returned during her pregnancy, as the tweet about Jimmy sleeping outside was only the beginning of several more entertaining posts.
Following AJ’s return, Naomi’s first post was on the calmer side by welcoming her “dynamite” back to the promotion, telling AJ to give them hell. Another tweet followed by stating the “SmackDown newbies” don’t deserve to share a locker room with Lee, and if Naomi were there, she would’ve thrown out their bags in the hallway.
The former Women’s World Champion also reposted Triple H’s backstage video of AJ signing the contract. Naomi captioned it by saying she was pulling the few strands of hair she had left, as after waiting for a decade for Lee to return, she was left sitting on the couch “looking crazy.”
