Footage has emerged from the 2021 DUI arrest of current SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jimmy Uso in which Uso calls a police officer an “a**hole.”
TMZ reported back in July 2021 that Uso was driving in Pensacola, Florida, and was arrested after running a red light having been driving at 50mph in a 35mph zone. Once pulled over, Jimmy Uso was asked to exit his Dodge Charger with the police officers saying the WWE star smelled of alcohol. The SmackDown star’s sobriety tests returned a BAC of .202 and .205 – well above the legal limit of .08 – according to police documents. The report says Uso had told police he had consumed “multiple” beers before getting behind the wheel. Now TMZ has published footage that shows Uso’s interaction with the arresting officer in which Uso swears at the officer. The officer expressed his hopes that Uso passed the field sobriety tests with Jimmy Uso then asking him “Are you serious? Why would you say that?”The police officer then responded “I don’t want you to be DUI, that’s the last thing I want,” to which Uso later replied “You’re an a**hole. You’re the one that’s worse. You had a remark — you made a remark you shouldn’t have did.”Jimmy Uso was previously booked for DUI in July 2019, before being found not guilty by a jury, as well as being arrested earlier in 2019 when he was allegedly involved in an altercation with police in Detroit.Jimmy Uso will be part of WrestleMania Backlash in May where he and brother Jey will hope to unify both the Raw and SmackDown Tag Team Titles when they face RK-Bro.
