Jim Ross Would Enjoy Seeing Two AEW Stars More Consistently On TV

Jim Ross

Jim Ross has a long history in discovering the stars of tomorrow and the Hall of Famer sees money in two rising names in AEW.

The AEW commentator was a part of the K&S WrestleFest virtual signing recently and he was asked who in the company may be being underutilized. JR had two names, both of which have athleticism, mass and a history with one another.

“Probably Powerhouse Hobbs. I’d like to see more, consistently, more of him and Wardlow. Two guys I have my eyes on. We have a lot of guys who are really close to breaking through to the next level, which is great. They’re learning and getting better. That’s their obligation. They work a great schedule. They have a chance to work out, train, and take care of their bodies when they’re off. They don’t travel as much as other companies. I like where we’re headed as far as the young guys are concerned.”

Jim Ross Has An Eye For Talent

Jim Ross is no slouch when it comes to establishing names in pro wrestling. One of his greatest discoveries happened to be John Cena who JR came across at an independent wrestling show in California back when Cena was working under Rick Bassman in UPW.

Wardlow and Hobbs are slated to have bright futures in pro wrestling as the two recently faced off against one another for the TNT Championship back on the April 19 episode of AEW Dynamite in Pittsburgh, PA. The former defeated the latter in definitive fashion and both parties had respective bargaining chips in their corners. Hobbs recently aligned himself with QT Marshall while the legenday Arn Anderson offered his aid to Wardlow.
