Jim Ross has provided the latest update on his road to recovery.
Ross has been seen rarely on AEW TV in the past few months, only making brief appearances behind the desk when the promotion is close to his home state of Oklahoma. The reason for this is that the announcer needs to limit travel to allow his leg to heal, something that Jim Ross has previously disclosed on his podcast.
Taking to social media to give the fans an update, Ross stated that he had left the rehab facility in Jacksonville and required a cane to walk. Unfortunately, Ross also disclosed that he had suffered a broken hip, which is also responding well to treatment:
First full day on Jax Beach and out of the rehab facility! Using a cane for now. Improving daily. Broken hip responding well. Excited for my future
Will Jim Ross Re-Sign?
Having been involved in the wrestling world for 50 years, the legendary announcer has been the voice of wrestling for multiple generations of fans. Previously providing an update to the fans, Jim Ross stated that his contract with All Elite Wrestling expired on Valentine’s Day. There has been no official word from Ross or the promotion as to whether or not the announcer has signed a new deal but Ross remains optimistic in his social media address.
Ross has previously stated that he is extremely hopeful that an agreement can be reached so he can commentate at the upcoming Revolution pay-per-view, which will be the site of Sting’s final match. While Ross remains optimistic, a fellow Hall of Famer has revealed that they are not allowed to be at Sting’s last match.
In a new update, Jim Ross has disclosed his future.
Everyone at Inside The Ropes would like to wish Jim Ross a full and speedy recovery.
