WWE Hall of Famer and current AEW commentator Jim Ross took to his “Grilling JR” podcast to have an episode about the late and great Eddie Guerrero and his career, but that wasn’t all.

Ross also gave some insight on what’s happening in All Elite Wrestling and what plans are currently ongoing with AEW Rampage, the company’s Friday night one-hour program.

First on Jim Ross’ AEW agenda was Vickie Guerrero in the promotion:

“I get to see Vickie every week. She’s remarried. I’m happy for her. She’s just a sweetheart of a lady, but all of them (The Guerrero family) are just super people. Good experiences, good vibes from the Guerreros.”

Later on his podcast, J.R. said:

“She became a beloved character in WWE just as she has become right now in AEW. I’m glad that we have her in our company because Vickie is mature. She’s remarried. She’s happy. She’s healthy. She gives a lot of counsel to the ladies of AEW and I really respect her for that. It’s tough counseling people who don’t understand the business as they will eventually. She’s just terrific in our company and I love her for that. She’s unselfish.”

Jim Ross also spoke about his commentary job on AEW Rampage:

“Rampage is a high priority right now within the confines of AEW. We want to make this Friday night show good and build a loyal audience and I think we’re going to do that. I really do. I enjoy the opportunity. I did the show with Excalibur and Schiavone and I love it. Just loved it. We had so much fun. When you cut your roster of announcers down to three, everything becomes more manageable. You’re not driving in so much traffic. That was the goal there.”
