Jim Ross Delighted That WWE Star Has Signed A New Deal: “I’m A Big Fan”

Jim Ross Confirms AEW Contract Expiration Date

Jim Ross is excited to see what happens when this WWE star returns.

Becky Lynch hasn’t wrestled in WWE since failing to recapture the Women’s World Championship from Liv Morgan on the May 27th episode of Monday Night Raw. Lynch officially became a free agent on June 1st when her contract expired as she chose not to re-sign, taking well-deserved time away from the ring.

Lynch has been dropping hints that she plans to return to WWE, and in December, the company also teased her comeback as she was seen in a commercial for Raw’s move to Netflix.

While Lynch did not appear on the January 6th episode of Raw as some speculated she would, Fightful Select reports that she’s agreed to a new deal with WWE and is expected to factor into WrestleMania 41.

“Becky Lynch Is A Seven-Figure Person” – Jim Ross

Speaking on a recent episode of Grilling JR, AEW broadcaster and WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross commented on the star’s anticipated return, heaping praise on Lynch and calling her a friend.

“She is a seven-figure person, no doubt. And good for her. She is a friend. I helped get her started and it wasn’t a hard decision to cast your lot with her because she had a great work ethic and desired to be a star. So I’m a big fan of Becky Lynch. She’s got the attitude, the look. And I’m glad that she has stopped long enough to have a baby. Moms like to have babies and so she did. I’m anxious to see how she does when she comes back.”
