Jim Ross has given his thoughts on the possibility of Shane McMahon becoming All Elite!

Shane McMahon hasn’t been seen in the pro wrestling world since his shock return to WWE went wrong at WrestleMania 39. Just seconds into an impromptu match with The Miz, McMahon tore his quad during a standard dropdown manouvre and was unable to continue, leading Snoop Dogg to unexpectedly take his place.

Since then, the landscape of the McMahon family in the professional wrestling industry has changed drastically: Both his father Vince McMahon and his sister Stephanie McMahon are no longer involved in WWE for the first time in history, bringing an end to the McMahon family’s decades-long grip on the industry.

With Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque now firmly in charge of WWE’s on-screen product, it seems unlikely Shane will be back any time soon – leading some fans to speculate that perhaps the 54-year-old could make a surprise jump to Tony Khan‘s rival promotion AEW. While the idea may seem far-fetched, one notable AEW figure believes it could very well work!

Jim Ross Addresses “Crazy” Possibility Of Shane McMahon Joining AEW

Speaking on the latest edition of Grilling JR, AEW commentator Jim Ross discussed the idea of Shane joining AEW – admitting that while it might be such a far-fetched idea that it could work, he believes the possibility of it becoming reality is entirely up to Shane himself.

“Yeah, it would. It’s so crazy that it might work, depending on how it was positioned and how it was introduced. Shane called me the other day, he’s called me two or three times, which I really appreciate. He’s always been sensitive in that respect.

That’s only a question that Shane could answer. Shane and Tony Khan being together, how would that work creatively, heck, who knows? Might be great. But in any event, that all depends on Shane and what he wants to do.”

Also on his podcast, Jim Ross addressed the likelihood of WWE and AEW working together.
