Jim Ross is cancer-free.
In a post on social media, Ross confirmed that a recent MRI showed that he’d got no cancer in his tibia. He’s previously revealed that the radiation wound on his leg is also healing.
The WWE Hall of Famer has dealt with skin cancer in the past, but confirmed in late 2021 that he was cancer-free.

Is Jim Ross Staying With AEW?
2023 has been a mixed year for the commentary legend but he’s determined to end it on a high. Although Ross has helped call the action on some of AEW’s biggest shows and was on hand for the first-ever edition of Collision, his health struggles have come to the fore. As well as the cancer scare, Ross suffered a fall on the eve of Collision and struggled on the show, later revealing he’d be taking a break.
This led fans to wonder whether JR would be back at all, but thankfully he recently made a popular return to the announce desk. Despite this, Jim Ross’ AEW contract is coming to an end and it was reported in late July that there are only two months left on his deal.
At present there’s been no word on whether he’ll stay with the company beyond the end of his current contract. In a new update by Ross, his future is now in the hands of his agent and Tony Khan.
