Jim Cornette Believes Triple H Told Released WWE Star Not To Sign Anything After Release

Jim Cornette recently discussed Triple H re-signing released WWE talent.

On July 22, WWE announced Paul Levesque, AKA Triple H, would resume his position as Executive Vice President of Talent Relations. Soon after, following the retirement of Vince McMahon, he was also named Head of WWE Creative.

Subsequently, several former WWE Superstars have made their returns including Karrion Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux, and Dakota Kai.

On his Experience podcast, Jim Cornette talked about WWE TV under Triple H’s control including re-singing released WWE stars.

“Karrion Kross and Scarlett are back and I guarantee you, obviously Triple H had the heart problem, the health problem, he wasn’t in a medically induced coma, he was capable of communicating with people. And I bet when he saw that and he’s been around and he knew what was going on from the inside. He probably either knew there was a few people [available]”.

I know some of the folks that had been let go were snatched up or picked up or have gone other places but he probably told Karrion, because that was glaring at me now, we don’t know whether the guy’s a crackpot or not in real life with the other people he hangs out with the Control Your Narrative bunch or whatever, but they, Triple H, probably told Karrion Kross ‘Don’t sign anything. I’ll get you back in here.’ They’ve made a drastic mistake. And that’s probably what happened”

Having been released from WWE back in November 2021, Kross and Scarlett returned on the August 5 edition of Friday Night Smackdown where they interrupted the final segment between Drew McIntyre and Romain Reigns.

With The Game at the helm both creatively and as the EVP of Talent Relations there is an expectation that there will continue to be a shake-up of the roster.
