Former WWE SmackDown Tag Team Champion Jey Uso has dropped several hints that his brother Jimmy on his way back to WWE imminently.
Jimmy Uso has been out of action since WrestleMania 36 when he suffered a torn ACL during a Triple Threat Ladder Match which also involved Kofi Kingston and John Morrison.
Since then, the Anoa’i family member has been seen sparsely during Jey’s family feud with Roman Reigns and was the reason for his sibling’s loss at Hell in a Cell when he was locked into the Guillotine Choke with Jey forced to quit to save his brother.
Now, Jey has sat down with Sportskeeda in order to drop several hints about his brother’s return to the company while talking about his time as a singles star:
“The only difference [as a singles competitor] is my brother is not holding that rope. He’s not in my corner, you know, but in due time, Uce, Uso Penitentiary will be opening soon. Hey, Uce, you just gotta keep your head on a swivel. He gonna be there, you know what I’m saying? It’s not paranoia, it’s The Usos.”
Originally, Jimmy’s return was set for February 2021 but as of writing there has been no word on his homecoming ahead of the company entering WrestleMania season.
Jey Uso is currently locked in a feud with Kevin Owens on Friday Night SmackDown after being one of the catalysts of the latter being unable to dethrone Roman Reigns of the WWE Universal Championship.
