Jey Uso Shockingly Wins The 2025 Men’s WWE Royal Rumble

Jey Uso had a short WWE World Title run

Jey Uso is here to dominate WWE.

After last year’s highlighting performance, Uso entered this year’s Rumble in the number 20th position. Lasting nearly 40 minutes in the match, Uso zoomed past several of his other opponents.

While CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins were eliminated in a moment of a few minutes, John Cena, Logan Paul, and Uso remained as the final three in the match. After Cena eliminated Paul, it became a one versus-one battle between Uso and The Leader of Cenation.

Competing in his final rumble, the veteran was extremely favorite among the fans to win it. However, in a shocking booking decision by Triple H, fans witnessed Uso push Cena from the apron, to win this year’s Rumble.

Massively over with the fans and a good seller of merchandise, the decision to have Uso win the match was extremely well-appreciated by the fans online. In a star-studded rumble, the former Intercontinental Champion was not expected by many to win. However, emerging as the underdog and proving his critics wrong, Jey Uso has won the 38th edition of the Royal Rumble.

Soon at the Rumble post-show press conference, Uso announced his intentions of going after Gunther’s World Championship at WrestleMania 41, and his turn his fate against him. While Uso won the men’s Rumble, Charlotte Flair created history and won the women’s Rumble match.

While Uso’s victory was the biggest shock of the night, both WWE Royal Rumble matches had plenty of surprises for fans.

Jey Uso’s Son Wants To Be A Part Of WWE

Just a few hours before the Rumble PLE, Jey Uso appeared in an interview on the Club 520 podcast, and discussed how his 13-year-old son is now interested in joining his father at World Wrestling Entertainment.

“My little one out there, he’s like, ‘Dad, how old do I have to be to wrestle?’ ’18. Five more years me and you are gonna be like Dom and Rey Mysterio.’ He’s so into it. I feel like if he wanted to, I would let him. It is hard, but he’s got to be all in. I’ve got nieces and nephews ready to go. 15, 16, 17, 6’5” 300 pounds, big Samoan kids.”
