WWE RAW saw Jey Uso drop the World Heavyweight Championship to Gunther. Amid rumors on a rematch, officials are moving forward on significant plans involving the real-life Bloodline member.
Main Event Jey saw his first World Heavyweight Championship reign come to an end at 51 days this past Monday in the RAW main event, thanks to The Ring General. RAW also featured opening bouts for WWE’s third Queen of the Ring tournament and its 24th King of the Ring tournament. Sami Zayn defeated Penta, Bron Breakker, and Dominik Mysterio to advance, while Roxanne Perez defeated Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan, and Kairi Sane.
WWE announced the first SmackDown KOTR and QOTR matches for tonight’s SmackDown from Lexington, KY. The next red brand bouts were booked for next week’s RAW in Green Bay, along with a Nikki Bella appearance, and a rumored return by Bill Goldberg.
