Jey Uso Reveals What JoJo Offerman Texted Him After WWE Backlash France Entrance

Jey Uso received a memorable welcome from the audience at WWE BackLash France.

It was the first PLE to be held in the country and the French crowd made sure they were going to enjoy it.

The May 3rd edition of Friday Night SmackDown was held in the same venue and the live fans were so loud that noise warnings were displayed on audience members’ devices.

As well as the memorable reactions and chants, the raucous crowd bust out their cell phone torches to bop along to Jey Uso’s entrance.

The amazing scenes instantly brought comparisons to the FireFlies that fans used to release during Bray Wyatt’s famous entrances.

The electric entrance went viral across the wrestling world and the man himself addressed it on social media stating in an ode to Wyatt the Fireflies belong to him and he is now the Yeeter of Worlds.

Yall ain’t got no damn choice.
Fireflies are mines now.

During an appearance on The Battleground Podcast, the multi-time Tag Team Champion spoke about the amazing atmosphere at the LDLC Arena in Décines-Charpieu, France and the reappearance of the fireflies before revealing that Wyatt’s fiance, Jojo Offerman had reached out to him about it.

“I think mostly I was validated [with how] Jojo, Bray Wyatt’s wife had texted me and said how much she was emotional watching,” Jey Uso said. “She saw clips of it on YouTube. That let me know right there, alright, I’m gonna keep it. I hope it sticks with me, man. I never asked for it. They did it, and I just want to keep it with me now.”

Changes Made To Jey Uso’s Entrance

Following the great reaction to the entrance, the company are making changes to the product to encourage fans in other arenas to replicate the interaction.

Also in the interview, Jey Uso issued a warning to aspiring WWE stars.
