Jey Uso has a message for WWE fans.
At the 2025 Royal Rumble on February 1st, Jey Uso eliminated John Cena to win the men’s Royal Rumble match in a move that caught many by surprise. Ahead of the bout, Cena was favored to win, with CM Punk and Seth Rollins close behind.
While many fans were happy with the surprise ending, some have been critical of the decision to have Uso triumph. Speaking in a new interview with Pat McAfee on The Pat McAfee Show, Uso addressed those who weren’t fans of his Royal Rumble win, pointing to his own hard work and saying those people will never understand his experience.
“That’s them, Uce. That’s them. That’s your opinion. You don’t strap my boots every week. You’re not on the road every week. All the bumps, handshakes, the side stepping no one sees. Early flights and rental cars. We’re not traveling with security guards. I’m in the trenches like everybody else.”

Continuing, Jey Uso said he doesn’t pay attention to his detractors as he’s too focused on his future goals.
“I don’t pay no mind to that. I don’t need any of that. I’m just going to focus (forward), tunnel vision. Either hop on the train or get off the train. There are a lot of haters out there, Uce. They talk it because they can’t walk it. I’m excited. I’m all positive. I never thought I would be at this level. Now I’m here and I got places to go. Yeet.”

With the WWE Royal Rumble being streamed live on Netflix, the service has announced the figures.
