Jey Uso has officially been moved to the alumni section of the WWE website.
Uso seemingly declared his departure from the company at the end of a dramatic episode of WWE SmackDown on Friday night as part of the critically acclaimed ongoing Bloodline storyline.
WWE has followed up on this development by moving the former WWE Tag Team Champion from the main roster section to the ‘alumni” page of WWE.COM
The alumni page is where WWE traditionally places former Superstars’ profile pages once they depart the company and the latest development is yet another twist in what has been captivating viewing from the very start.
With Uso not currently advertised for any upcoming house shows or the next Premium Live Event, WWE Payback, it seems that WWE are committed to this latest twist in the tail, with eagled-eyed fans quick to spot the 37 year-old had been moved from the active roster section of their popular website.
Having fallen to defeat at the the hands of Roman Reigns during Tribal Combat at WWE SummerSlam on August 5th at Ford Field in Detriot, Jey Uso seems to be on a collision course with brother Jimmy , who returned at the Premium Live Event to aid Reigns to victory.
The brothers recently discussed a potential bout in an interview with Ariel Helwani, revealing that a battle between the two men on WWE’s biggest stage, WrestleMania, would be a dream match for the pair.
What is next for Jey Uso?
Heading into July’s Premium Live Event WWE Money In The Bank, Roman Reigns hadn’t lost via pin-fall since being toppled by Baron Corbin at TLC on December 15th, 2019. However, Jey Uso became the first man to pin Reigns’ shoulders to the mat since almost three years.
It set up the highly anticipated bout between Uso and Reigns at SummerSlam but having come up short in the Main Event against ‘The Tribal Chief’ in Detroit it would appear that another crack at the WWE Undisputed Universal Championship is on hold for now whilst the Uso twins resolve their differences.
