Jey Uso believes he will never be able to top this iconic WWE entrance.
On the night 1 of WrestleMania 41, Jey Uso shocked the world when he defeated Gunther to win the Heavyweight Championship. Trapping The Ring General in his sleeper hold, Uso managed to tap Gunther out.
Winning the 2025 Royal Rumble, Uso earned himself a shot at Gunther’s World title. While many criticized the choice of selecting Uso to dethrone Gunther, the Tribal Chief’s former right-hand man steadily went massively over with the fans, turning into one of the most popular stars on the roster.
To add to his popularity, Uso also enjoys one of the most creative and interactive entrances in the entire promotion. Last year at Backlash 2024, Uso challenged Damian Priest for his World title in Lyon, France. Fans still vividly remember Uso’s entrance from that night when he garnered an incredible reaction from the French crowd. He also received a similar huge entrance for his WrestleMania 41 match.
Soon after his title win in Las Vegas, Jey Uso reflected on his Backlash 2024 entrance in Lyon during the post WrestleMania 41 Night One press conference.
“It was fire, wasn’t it, Uce? Hell yeah. I don’t think I can ever replicate or duplicate some Lyon, France-type energy. I wish I could have that energy every night with me, but it’s okay. I just appreciate those moments, Uce. Shoutout to Lyon, France. I think they put me on the first time I ever thought of myself as some superstar status type. I had to watch it back. I don’t like watching nothing back. It’s just a lot. Lyon, France was 100 and I think that is the best entrance in WWE, let alone with The Undertaker. Stone Cold, glass, that’s your ass. Bret Hart. Shawn Michaels. I’m just appreciating this whole ride as I slide. Yeet.”

Jey Uso Welcomes WWE Fans To The Yeet Era
At the WrestleMania 41 press conference, Jey Uso sent a message to his critics after his title win. Welcoming the fans to the ‘Yeet Era’, Uso said,
“I just wanted to be a tag team wrestler with my twin brother. Once you start to progress and see different doors open, you want to take advantage of those opportunities. It’s been hard. Especially hard today because I feel like, our business, everyone is smart to it. We the last of a dying breed, that’s what I think. It’s damn near live theatrics, one shot, one take, live TV.
I take pride in all that. All my brothers and sisters. Everyone who put on today. Behind the scenes, we’re all a big family. I’m so grateful I get to do this little part. I go out there and wrestle, but the production crew, the people who drive the trucks, who load, catering, I love y’all. I love everybody. My hat’s off. Stay humble, ready to rumble. Welcome to the YEET Era. I don’t know what’s about to happen. I’m gonna embrace the hate. I’m gonna embrace the love. I dethroned the Ring General.
I’m the World Heavyweight Champion. I got side plates on this thing. This is the quickest I ever got…I had to wait two weeks when I won the IC Championship. I got a new shirt on. It’s love. YEET.”
