Jesse Ventura Confirms Status For WWE Saturday Night's Main Event

Jesse Ventura has released a statement regarding his attendance for the next WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event special in San Antonio, Texas on January 25th.

Ahead of the first Saturday Night’s Main Event in December 2024, Ventura’s involvement in the show was heavily promoted with multiple references on commentary along with an appearance by the Hall of Famer at a SmackDown taping in Minnesota.

Although Jesse Ventura stated in an interview after his return that he would be involved in all Saturday Night’s Main Event specials moving forward, his appearance on the next show has not been brought up. Putting an end to the uncertainty with a post on social media, Ventura confirmed that he would be making his return to TV in San Antonio:

“So very excited for Saturday Night’s Main Event this weekend in San Antonio. The Body returns to Texas this Saturday Night!”

Why Was There Uncertainty Over Jesse Ventura Appearing At Saturday Night’s Main Event?

The main reason for the speculation surrounding whether or not Ventura would be at the show was due to the rumour that another Hall of Famer would also be at the venue. Just a few weeks removed from his disastrous appearance at the Raw on Netflix debut episode, Hulk Hogan is set to make another live appearance at Saturday Night’s Main Event. On the January 6th Raw, Hulk Hogan was booed out of the building after attempting to hype up the new partnership and his Real American Beer.

With Hogan also being the one who informed Vince McMahon of Ventura’s plans to form a union, Ventura has not spoken with Hogan for decades.
